Calling All Em-paths & Body-workers...
Walking With Protection Workshop With Stephanie Saturday, September 16th, 2017 9:30AM-11:30AM @BWS Does evil exist? What is dark energy? Do you absorb other people's negative energy & emotions leaving you feeling drained? How do we protect ourselves from this intrusive energy? What are the signs you need to know about when it comes to protecting your energy?? Feeling exhausted all the time, no matter how much sleep you get or how well you eat is a sign your energy needs to be cleared and that you will benefit from working with protection tools. Also, radical changes in behavior, especially negative changes that seem "beyond" your control is another sign. This workshop is especially helpful for sensitive people, em-paths, health and wellness professionals, body-workers and anyone who deals with individuals and groups on a regular basis. Don't ignore the signs! It doesn't take much to clear and get back on track. Once you learn, you'll be able to do on-going "maintenance". In her workshop, Stephanie will discuss all of this & you will learn: *How evil/dark energy works* *The ways we break our own protections* *Shamanic psycho-spiritual protection tools & techniques to protect you from harmful energies when engaging with other people's energy fields * *How to clear dark energy* Kindly Note: Class is limited to 8 people. These Hips Don't Lie by Stephanie
What does it take to reawaken?? Last week I spoke about times of transition and how we find our way. Then on Monday we experienced a major transition with the solar eclipse and the new moon. Did you feel the energy? It's powerful!! Having said this, there are so many opportunities these days for us to reawaken. By reawaken I mean to consciously choose change. We pick up our head and finally decide what we are willing to do about what we want. What type of opportunities lead to reawakening? Often pain related ones...physical, mental, emotional, etc. My reawakening came last week while receiving a much needed massage with Jhancarlos. Let's say we dealt with my psoas...otherwise know as our other soul. I had no idea the emotional pain I was in until my hips were being worked on. The hips are an energetic storehouse for emotions. Why is this interesting? Those of you who know me, understand I meditate daily, practice yoga and self-shaman (aka energy healing on myself). I got lots and lots of tools. And yet...even I fall asleep. During the massage, Jhancarlos reminded me -- with clarity and grace -- that my hips/psoas have been storing lots of emotion that simply needed a physical release. It was a humbling reminder that my hips don't lie and when I am undergoing heightened stress, I need to reach out for other kinds of support and book that massage. Thank you Jhancarlos for setting me straight and for holding safe space for release. As many of you know, trusting the person who is helping us is necessary for deep release. So I ask you: Are you in need of reawakening to your life? If so, what will YOU do about it TODAY? Make that change? Book a session? Try something new? Go on retreat? Have more fun? Get support? Finding Our Way, by Stephanie
In the next few weeks, many of us will experience "transitions" as we head back to school, back to work, back to life…back to "reality". In addition to this time of transition and change, many of us are feeling the heightened energy around us. It's real. For some, it's really hard to ignore and/or overcome. During these times of transition and heightened energy sometimes we lose our way. We may be riding the roller coaster of feelings: depressed, overwhelmed, tired, confused, afraid...anything but relaxed! How do we Find Our Way? By returning to emotional balance...equanimity. As I talk about in Chapter Two of my book Reclaiming JOY, the emotional roller coaster is not sustainable and keeps us stuck. We react and often cause more turmoil. This simple practice, called BRFWA, brings us back to a relaxed state where our emotions are in balance. From this place of emotional balance or equanimity, we are able to ride the emotional wave without drowning in it. In equanimity we find our way back to peace and clarity. Once clear, we are able to take action that keeps us on the path of peace. BRFWA Explained: Breathe: As a wave of emotion comes over you, slow down your breath. Allow your breath to flow freely in and out. Relax: As you slow down your breath, your mind and body will begin to relax. Soften your muscles, let go of mental and physical tension. Feel: As you relax, you are able to soften into what you are feeling. Stay open to the sensations and emotions moving through you in this moment. Watch: While feeling, you watch your experience closely, neither grasping what is pleasant nor pushing away what is painful. Allow: As you watch, you allow the process to unfold. You accept yourself and your experience exactly as it is, dropping the need to change it in any way. BRWFA is the practice of being present. Being present is what we learn during meditation.
