Spring cleaning is SO much more than cleaning out our closets!
We must declutter our bodies too. Why? Everything is alive. When we keep what no longer serves, we stop growing and remain stuck. When we stop growing, we slowly die. How does this happen? Karma is the "glue" that keeps us repeating the same patterns/addictions/relationships. When we clear the clutter / cleanse we remove the stickiness When we do this, we raise our vibration. When we raise our vibration we attract raised vibrations. What clutter do we need to clear in our body & how? We do it by getting the energy flowing, clearing karma, and raising our vibration. Examples include: Physical - movement, massage, clean eating Mental - meditation, writing Emotional - energy healing Spiritual - stillness, space, prayer Want support? >>>Email Stephanie! YES!!!
Having worked for several years with a therapist, I’ve witnessed profound changes in my life and have a deep appreciation for its effectiveness. But I also know that there’s a limit to what it can do. Talk therapy can delve deep – but only as deep as our conscious mind will allow. This is where other types of therapy, including energy work, come in. Energy work heals at a deeper level, and can access those unconscious beliefs, preverbal memories, and residual trauma stored in the body rather than the mind. Energy Healing is incredibly effective at targeting and healing these wounds. Energy work makes the unconscious conscious, and can act as the equivalent of “miracle grow” for conventional forms of therapy. If therapy or other forms of healing have stalled for you, or if you are looking to add a complementary type of treatment, consider booking an Energy Healing Session with Stephanie. >>>Book Here >>>Questions? Ask Stephanie Here UPDATE: After I shared this blog post I received this from a client: "As a therapist myself, I can say with complete confidence that energy work is therapy! I have done so much of my own therapy, and thousands of hours practicing therapy with others, and the energy work I have participated in over the last few years with you has been so transformative and healing. So much so that I am now training to pursue incorporating forms of it into my own clinical practice. So yes. 100% endorsement that it is very much therapy! (And feel free to use that if you feel so inclined to share that message 😉)," Sarah Bren & her website link is here. Lately I am reminded that Life IS the Practice. Meaning, simply being alive gives us ample opportunity to practice.
Practice what? For me it all comes down to becoming the best version of myself. What does that mean? It means with each passing year I strive to live in greater alignment with my true self. What does that look like? Many things. More inner peace, joy, love, forgiveness, acceptance, abundance, adventure to name a few. How do I do it? I do it by having healthy habits practiced daily. As many of you know, one of my keystone habits is meditation. Practicing Transcendental Meditation now for over 2 decades I finally understand what is means that life IS the meditation. Why? The discipline it takes to sit everyday for 20 minutes in silence is a habit that translates to all areas of life. When I started my TM practice 24 years ago I felt like I "had" to. I was looking for a healthier way to manage my mind and emotions. I am a passionate triple LEO with a strong personality and opinions! Now I "get" to do my TM practice. Meditation really isn't a "doing" anyway. It's actually about sitting with self, observing thought, emotion, story, etc. and realizing we are none of it. We are much more. Once we "get" this, we start to see life differently...and experience life differently. Examples include: we show up calm instead of activated; we respond instead of react; we think before we speak; we look at emotions as messengers rather than excuses to "act out"; we are present, in the moment, not distracted / controlled by past or future. The list is endless. What we learn / experience sitting in meditation begins to merge with our life. By this I mean: when we are meditating, we are meditating. When we are playing, we are playing. When we are working, we are working. When we are in relationship, talking and engaging, that's what we are doing. And we are enjoying it! Whatever we are "doing" gets our full, 100% attention. We are present. Meditation teaches us how to be present in our life. Many think meditation is woo woo. It is not. Meditation is hard. It takes incredible discipline and courage to sit with self and be willing to look at all our beauty and our pain. That's life. A paradox. >>>Learn More. I have searched long and hard for a breakfast cookie to buy. It didn't happen. I ended up paying too much money, the cookies had too much sugar, and sometimes were stale! Necessity breeds invention and I got busy creating my own simple recipe for a yummy, healthy, and hearty cookie. They are gluten free & great pre-workout for an energy boost and in between meals as a snack. Remember being healthy means putting the best stuff in our body! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Ingredients 4 ripe bananas 2 1/2 cups raw gluten free oats 6 Tablespoons nut butter of your choice 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup raisins 1 shredded carrot 1/2 teaspoon each cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract You can also add: chia seeds, cacao nibs, etc. Make it your own! This is a great base. 1. Preheat oven 350. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. 2. Mash bananas in a large bowl. Stir in oats - don't overmix or it will become runny. Add everything else. 3. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto parchment paper. 4. Bake for 15 minutes. let cool 10 minutes. Store in airtight container in fridge or freezer. Makes about 40 small cookies. The untamed mind is a dangerous place.
Today in less than 2 hours I spoke with 2 separate people about the suicide of their friends, both males, with family, in their 50's. I had to write. While I am not a therapist, the main reason people *initially come to me for energy healing, coaching or meditation is pretty much the same. Symptoms: unhappiness, addictions, confusion, disconnection, loneliness, stress, restless negative mind, lacking purpose, to name a few. I say *initially because when people stick with our program in addition to doing the daily work at home, they come through on the other side: joy, clarity, peace, connection, health, disciplined mind, clear on purpose, etc. I am sharing this because we all know people who are suffering, and sometimes the person is us. There are infinite resources available. It's up to us to take ACTION & get help and also share these resources with others. Often when we share with others we feel better too. Nothing changes without CONSISTENT ACTION. Remember: Checking in on people is important. I have several people I text with daily to check in. What one action can you take right now for yourself or someone else to support positive mental and emotional change? Reach out to me if you need more support, >>>Email Stephanie |
