Tuesday, August 22, 2017 6:30PM - 8:00PM Last week we talked about how yoga means union and connects us to our body, mind and spirit. Guess what? So does meditation. More than ever anxiety and "noise" are at an all time high. As a result, we feel lonely and disconnected. We are stressed, tired and no longer know what we want or need to be joy-filled and at peace. Enough, right? The practice of meditation is a powerful way to relax and experience the value of "quiet". Whether you are new to meditation or are an advanced practitioner, in this workshop with Stephanie you will learn simple and effective techniques to manage the monkey mind and connect more fully to your inner wisdom to create the life you desire. Kindly Note: Payment of $50 is due upon registration. Register Online Here or Call: 914.337.9356 Yoga Love...Yoga Means Union
To anyone who has taken a yoga class, perhaps you have felt more connected to your body, mind, spirit during and afterward. This is one reason we love yoga! It's about union. When we are on the mat (or the sand), we are invited to practice what it means to be in union- first with ourselves and then with others. We create this union when we stop to feel our toes...notice our breath and coordinate it with our movement...unite intention with where our attention flows...and it goes on. If you're new to yoga and have not yetexperienced this, next time you are in class, look for union. We are still feeling the yoga love as we share this FB picture album from the May Outdoor Yoga Event. Talk about union. It was a blessing to connect with our community...to join together breathing and being one. Practicing union...another powerful practice for life. If you want to deepen your understanding of yoga and union, check out Stephanie's Fall Tulum Retreat here. There are a few rooms available. Questions? Email Stephanie here. |
