Challenges are part of life. We have all experienced them.
Right now some of us are facing the biggest challenges of our life.
Being home many of us have much more time in relationship. Often this brings to the surface the challenges we’ve been “too busy” to deal with...
Sometimes those challenges are with ourselves! We live alone and have to deal with ourselves. Some of us are faced with our self in relationship and also with those we live with! Whatever the case, it can feel overwhelming at times yet we have “nowhere to go”... except inward :)
These challenges/obstacles show us what we have learn and where we have to grow.
So, what if we use this time to hone skills?
What if we decide to use the challenges as a gift?
To nurture the inner garden.
To be willing to see truth.
To deepen relationships.
To experience the freedom that comes from resisting nothing?
When we are willing to embrace the obstacles as an opportunities to awaken... we slowly start to live the life of our dreams.
In this weeks podcast Stephanie talks about all of it. Tune in! Share. Discuss. Let’s go!!
When we are faced with circumstances outside of our control it may feel like an impossibility to let go.
And yet-- letting go is exactly what we must "do".
One of the ways I "trick" my mind into letting go is by asking myself the below 3 questions.
Since inner peace is a way of being many of us want to experience, this exercise works quite well.
1. Do I wish to experience inner peace or conflict?
Inner peace, of course!
Note: Some of us still like being in conflict...it provides a distraction of sorts and gives us an excuse not to take responsibility for our life. Ouch, yes. I get it. Some of us are in conflict and don't even know it. All have been true for me. It's part of the human condition at times. It's up to us to be aware and then make the choice again and again as life carries on...
2. What must I be willing to do in order to experience inner peace?
Be open to trying things that support this way of living. There are many things/ tools we can do/ use: books, meditation, a mentor, energy work, prayer, workshops, podcasts... I do all of this and then some :) The point is, I am willing to do what it takes to live a peaceful life. Over time, we may need more or less of these things/ tools based on what we are facing in life. More stressful times = more support. Make sense?
3. Who must I become to experience inner peace?
Become a student of inner peace. Know thyself. Use the tools above.
Today, right now, begin to practice: acceptance, non-judgment, non-attachment, presence, compassion... and the big one - forgiveness. These are only a few and often the ones that are most profound.

As we continue to navigate life during this covid pandemic, stress levels are very high for many.
With no “end” yet in sight, some of us are experiencing such high levels of stress and anxiety we are unable to function. We may feel the nervous system responding in fight, flight, or freeze. In some cases we are having panic attacks. If you have never had a panic attack, they can be very scary, feeling like a heart attack.
In this weeks Mind the Gap podcast episode Stephanie discusses the value of having a presence practice to help manage anxiety. She shares exactly what “to do” and how to navigate this time with as much ease as possible.
Please Listen and Share. Wishing you peace and positivity.

The only way out...is in!!!
As we continue to navigate life during these uncertain and challenging times, some of us will embrace the opportunity to go deeper inside ourselves.
As we go deeper within, we learn how to cope with circumstances outside of us that are beyond our illusion of control. If we resist going within, we also resist learning new ways of being that will support us when we need it most. We will suffer.
In this mind opening and honest podcast episode released a few months ago, Stephanie speaks about "spiritual awakening" and how it relates to what is happening right now "outside" of us.
How can we use the challenges we all face with this pandemic to go within and ultimately wake up to a life we WANT TO LIVE?
Please take the time to listen. Apply the wisdom to your current life. Share the episode with others. Discuss it together and support one another.
