“Daily Rituals...Making Everyday Sacred”
In life I have found it helpful to have beliefs. I have also found it helpful to be willing to allow those beliefs to evolve as I grow in wisdom. Having said this, some beliefs are long standing, life sustaining, and act as pillars for me. One of those beliefs is this: everyday is sacred. Knowing everyday is sacred, my intention is to focus energy on daily rituals and practices that celebrate the sacred. Doing so helps me remember it throughout my day. It’s so easy to forget with all the noisy distractions of the world!! My belief energizes my commitment to having daily rituals and practices. While daily meditation and energy clearing practices are my anchors, many days I also find myself writing, drumming, chanting, and engaging in various other uplifting practices that nourish my spirit (cooking, exercising, and playing with with my cats and dog ). When I start my day with these nourishing practices, it reconnects me to our essential nature which is unconditional love. Feeling this pure love reminds me of my divine nature. This love washes away any doubt that there is anything more important than bringing love into the world. My spirit is nourished. Ahhh, yes! I am spirit. We are all spirit. And I am human too. As the day rolls on, perhaps I encounter someone being unkind or hateful. These are the moments my daily rituals bolster me. They remind me that everything is sacred. Yes, everything, even the less desirable attributes of humanity. In fact, perhaps we learn the most from these challenging moments? My studies of the Bhagavad Gita have taught me that nothing is wasted. I mentioned this last week in my blog about death awakens us. The pain and suffering we experience is useful, if we choose to see it that way. How so? These experiences help us awaken. The harder moments of life teach us where our limits to love and forgiveness reside. They teach us where we are still growing. Exhale. They teach us to have compassion. They teach us that all of life is sacred. My daily rituals help me stay on the path of awakening to life. Why is awakening important? Well, another one of my beliefs is that in order to fulfill my purpose on Earth (to joyfully serve), I must be awake. Meaning, I must be aware, alert, and of the mind set that everything that happens is for me to learn and grow. I often say, “let’s burn our pain and use it as fuel for the journey”. Coming back to my belief that everything is sacred translates to everyday, every moment, every breath... is sacred. My daily rituals help me remember this sacredness so I may live into it. Living as such is a powerful and humbling practice. It’s an endless practice really. A practice, not a perfect. At this stage of my sacred Earth journey, I don’t know any other way I would want to live. >>>What daily rituals do you have or will you commit to NOW? Blessings and love to you on your sacred journey. I support you! Stephanie One of the things that makes me come ALIVE is gathering amazing woman at my home to engage in healing rituals.
On Saturday we did that! A shamanic full moon celebration, fire ceremony to release, journaling, yummy food, a walk to the beach, and of course henna! It was incredibly peaceful, life affirming, and fun. Fall is a great time to turn inward and tune in. To support you I want to share a few of the journal prompts we used: 1. What do I want less of? More of? 2. What patterns have I broken this year? 3. What parts of myself have I grown to know better? 4. What seeds do I wish to plan this season? 5. Who or what will I call upon to protect, support, guide me and hold me accountable? If you're interested in joining us for the next gathering, reply to Stephanie below via the contact form saying "YES TO RITUAL". >>>YES TO RITUAL Why energy healing?
Energy healing assists in shedding the past to free us for creating our future. Isn't that exciting? The future is created in the present moment. When we are filled with pain/anger/resentment/imprints from the past -- in the present moment, our ability to make empowered choices for our future is affected. In order for us to access who we are, and bring forth our unique gifts, we must BOTH shed and heal (aka integrate). Shedding leaves space, a clearing if you will. Healing brings about harmony with the energy of what was "shed". Meaning, if we experience abuse of any kind or absorb imprints that have been passed down through generations/ancestors, this energy gets stored in our body. Whoever we absorbed this energy from-- this relationship -- needs to be healed. The energy of anger/hate/bitterness binds us energetically to someone as much as love does. Think about that. This is one reason we practice forgiveness. Peace doesn't come with hate. The two can't co-exist. As we shed the energy, and heal the relationship (there are many ways to do this in shamanic energy healing - even if the person is on the other side) we are ready to fill the "space". Are you ready? >>>YES! Learn More. 9 out of 10 people engage in energetic & mentorship work with me (Stephanie!) because they are wanting to "manifest" something or someone (ha!) or they are wanting to know their "purpose".
It got me thinking. Is it time for me to offer a conscious manifestation course? There's such power in a group class + community. As with all my of offerings, it would be a spiritual approach to creation (cause that's what we are doing) which connects to divine energy, wisdom, and the laws of success. It will include shamanic teachings as well as some Akashic realm work which I have been diving into lately too. What fun! Does this interest you? If you are screaming YES, reply to me below via the contact form and I will create a group. From there I will give you more information. >>>YES!!! 3 Tips for Keeping Your Energy Body Clear Like taking a shower, eating healthy food, and caring for our "material stuff", we also need to take care of our energy body. By energy body I am talking about our physical body, mind/emotions & spirit, because we are energy!! Most people identify most with thought and emotional energy. What lives within and beneath these thoughts and emotions is who we are-- spirit in physical form...energy! It’s not uncommon for people to “forget” or be confused about our energy system. As far as I recall, schools don’t’ have classes on the energy body. Unless we are taught at home or seek out how the energy body impacts or day to life, we may find ourselves experiencing unnecessary suffering. By suffering I mean we may linger on problems and past events that end up keeping us stuck because the energy is literally stuck inside us. We end up resisting the present and continue to create a future that looks like the past. It's not sustainable. What can we do to keep our energy clear and flowing?? 1. Be Still Stillness is the foundation for a well lived life. We live in a non-stop and noisy world. Add our busy mind to that and a perfect storm ensues. Over time the noise drowns out our own voice. In stillness lives your connection to yourself, your desires...your truth. In stillness lies your connection to pure potential, what you WANT, and the creativity of the universe of which we are a part that will support you in manifesting once you are clear. One of our favorite ways to access and deepen stillness is with meditation. Whether you have a formal meditation practice or not, simply sitting in silence or watching nature connects you to stillness and the energy of life itself. It rejuvenates, restores and renews us. 2. Energy Healing Come to the Sanctuary for a Shamanic Energy Healing Session. Shamanic energy healing is one of the most ancient forms of healing practiced by humans worldwide. Shamanic sessions are powerful for assisting clients with big life changes such as: job transitions, marriage and divorce, finding love, death and grief, and manifesting of one's passion and life calling. The energy work is a proactive partnership between the client and practitioner that facilitates deep transformation and healing. When we clear the energy we are able to shed the past, heal the present and empower the future. Keep in mind Shamanism is not a religion - it is a way to improve your life. 3. Stay Inspired If you find yourself getting bored/restless or “depressed”, plug into something or someone who inspires you! This can be anything from a creative project to reading a book, listening to a podcast or trying a new activity! Sometimes changing up routines can add new inspiration to your day. Examples include changing your exercise routine, starting your day with 10 minutes of yoga/stretching/breathing, walk instead of drive, take a different route, and maybe call instead of text or social media! Whatever you feed your mental/emotional body impacts your energy. Choose wisely. Remember, we only have this moment. Make it great by taking regular care of your energy body. Do everything you possible can to feel your best. Life is short. You deserve to live it energetically well! Namaste, Stephanie |
