We love and live for the many ways to give and receive nourishment at the Sanctuary! When we nourish ourselves, and one another, life is sweeter.
Today I encourage you to nourish...
How? The food you eat, the joyful movement you engage in, the rest and relaxation you allow yourself, and the pampering you gift yourself.
What? In yoga we use the term "edge" to describe the moment we are holding a pose...and it becomes a challenge and our mind/body wants to quit, yet we stay and push a bit more. We find our "Edge"...the place that isn't comfortable, nor is it painful.Our edge is where we build confidence and learn new ways of being...we grow. And when we grow, we sustain our own sense of deep nourishment.
You may explore your edge physically, in yoga, or any activity you enjoy; mentally by exploring practices like meditation that discipline the mind; emotionally by experiencing energy healing to help you release old patterns that no longer serve.
How to nourish our graduates?
Perhaps this quote says it best...
