As the end of year draws near, we may find ourselves speeding up even more than usual. Holiday gifts, gatherings, and other "to do's".
What if we actually slowed down instead?
Meaning, keep doing what you're doing and bring the quality of presence to it. This is what meditation teaches us...how to be present. In this way, every moment can be a meditation. When we are present, time has a way of naturally slowing down as we feel less "stressed" and more "connected".
The daily discipline of sitting on the meditation cushion trains our mind to stay present when we are "doing" life.
