Sanctuary at home
Nine years ago when we (Peter and Stephanie) opened the Sanctuary we did so because we were wanting a Sanctuary of our own. We traveled a lot to retreat centers, especially Kripalu (the Mothership!), and decided it was time to create a "Sanctuary at Home"...hence the birth of BWS.
Why are we sharing this?
With times as they are, many of us are home a lot more than we "want" to be.
With that, we want to inspire you to find ways to create Sanctuary in your home.
It's possible with a few consistent touches: add candles, buy fresh flowers,
clear the space with palo santo or sage, explore new recipes and cook, listen
to relaxing music, create boundaries, and make space where you can sit
and "be". Surround yourself with things (and people!) that make you feel
beautiful and peaceful.
Another way you can create Sanctuary at home is by participating
in our virtual offerings. You may be wondering are virtual sessions effective?
YES!! Sometimes even more effective than in person...
