One of the themes I am seeing a lot of these days as we navigate major work/relationship/life transition is feeling the need to take action -- yet also feeling exhausted and stuck. It's like having your foot on both the gas pedal and the brake.
It's not sustainable and doesn't feel "good".
What to do?
Slow it all down.
When we slow down, we begin to restore our energy and the connection to ourselves. From here comes clarity.
Remember!!! Where we focus our energy either fuels us or drains us.
How to slow down?
First, pause and take a few breaths. Ask what would make you feel good and nourished? Doing what makes us feel good is an act of self love.
Examples: Maybe it's finally making those dinner/vacation/coffee plans with a dear one. Or perhaps it's shutting off the phone for a day...or even a 1/2 day. Maybe it's getting some Sanctuary and enjoying a massage, facial or energy healing session!!
Whatever it is, you deserve it! The act of slowing down is one of the simplest ways to restore our energy so we can continue to generate it and expend it.
