"In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments; there are consequences." -Robert Greene Ingersoll Be Well: Optimal Nutrition with Stephanie
Celebrating 15 years with optimal nutrition! See my before (2003) and after (2018) pictures below :) When it comes to the vitamins and wellness products I've been using for 15 years now, often people ask me where to start. Likely it won't be with the exact products I am using. It's a science and I have fined tuned it over the years. Using the marathon example... Let's say you want to run a marathon yet have not ever ran for more than 5 minutes. Doesn't it make sense that your training program would not be the as someone running marathons for 15 years? Of course!! Your program would be designed for someone starting out... Similarly to someone who has been running marathons for 15 years, I would not tell someone to take the exact products I am taking! That wouldn't be fair or make sense. And you probably would be upset with me!! What I do suggest for people looking to start (or re-start) on an optimal nutrition regimen is one of these 3 options: Good - Essentials Plan - Supports Your Basic Nutritional Needs Better - Vitalizing Plan - Get Healthier and More Energized Best - Life Plan - Feel amazing with the best, most comprehensive nutritional system. 1. Power Packed Nutrition in the Protein- whether you are using it post work-out, as a meal, or as a hearty snack - this protein contains high quality ingredients (I accept nothing less) and it's loaded with protein, low in fat and low carb (low glycemic) and gluten free. Think long, lean, nourished muscles. 2. Easy To Make & Delicious- Enough said. 3. Makes my boyfriend (therefore me) really happy. Same as #2. Ingredients: -2-3 Scoops Shaklee* Performance Build 100% Grass Fed Whey Protein, Vanilla (they have chocolate too) -1 cup Cocoa Almond Cashew Beverage from Trader Joe (or milk of choice....) -1 Tbsp nut butter -Dash coconut flakes and/ or cacao nibs Feel free to add 1/2 banana or handful of berries. It will increase sugar yet the protein and nut milk will balance out the glycemic load. I have hypoglycemia and it doesn't trigger me. Next: Add everything to bullet or blender and enjoy! *Note: I have been using Shaklee products for 15 years and happily endorse and distribute them. Questions? Ask Me. |
