Our health and well-being is our greatest wealth. Energy is our #1 asset.
When we don't feel "good", it's hard to enjoy our life. We miss the moments. We deserve to be present for the moments in our life. Being present doesn't simply happen. Learning to be present is a lifelong practice. It's a practice that takes commitment. The effort is worth it. You are worth it. Right now, pause & check In. What do YOU need? Listen to your body, your mind, and your spirit. What has been trying to get your attention? Maybe you need to call a friend, speak your voice, make a request, get better sleep, or have some fun! As we approach the final few months of the year & the Holidays draw near... it's the perfect time to pause and make time to care for body, mind, and spirit. While it may feel like life is moving fast and we don't have "enough" time to get it all done...this is actually the best time to slow down and nourish ourselves. Take a pause. Grab a pen. Write a few sentences about how you want to end your year. Are you craving rest and renewal? Perhaps you want to experience more peace, joy, health, or community. Remember- where your attention goes your energy flows...and that is what you are creating. We are here to support you! Our Sanctuary offerings range from therapeutic & relaxing massage to yummy facials, meditation, uplifting energy balancing, and Soul Realignment®. Explore Your Wellness Now. What does it mean to let go? Why is it hard?
When we are faced with circumstances outside of our control, it may feel like an impossibility to let go. The paradox? Letting go is exactly what we must "do". I have learned it's okay to desire something! It's healthy and natural. However, we create unnecessary suffering when things don't go as planned... and we keep holding on to what "was". When we do this, we become rigid and can become blind to what is supposed to be for us. When we micromanage and/or try to control outcomes, which many of us do by forcing and resisting, we close off infinite possibilities that may be even better than what we are asking for. Reread that. One of the ways I "trick" my mind into letting go is by asking myself the below 3 questions. Since inner peace is a way of being many of us want to experience, this exercise works quite well. 1. Do I wish to experience inner peace or conflict? Inner peace, of course! Note: Some of us still like being in conflict...it provides a distraction of sorts and gives us an excuse not to take responsibility for what is and/ or our present life situation. Some of us are in conflict and don't even know it. All have been true for me. It's part of the human condition. It's up to us to be aware and then make the choice again and again to accept what is. Once we do accept, all the energy we were using to "resist" is freed up and we are able think clearly and choose a better way. 2. What am I willing to do in order to experience inner peace? Take action. Nothing happens without taking action. Be open to trying things that support a peaceful way of living. There are many things/ tools we can do/ use: books, meditation, a mentor, soul work, prayer, workshops, podcasts... I do all of this and then some :) The point is, I am willing to take action and do what it takes to live a peaceful life. Over time, we may need more or less of these things/ tools based on what we are facing in life. More stressful times = more support. Make sense? 3. Who must I become to experience inner peace? Become a student of inner peace. Know thyself. Use the tools above. Today, right now, begin to practice: acceptance, non-judgment, non-attachment, presence, compassion... and the big one - forgiveness. EXTRA CREDIT: ENJOY the process... yes, all of it. I am always surprised at how quickly my inner state (and therefore my mind) can shift when I am willing to enjoy life. I become re-energized, enthusiastic, and see opportunity everywhere! >>>Begin Your Journey Today “Daily Rituals...Making Everyday Sacred”
In life I have found it helpful to have beliefs. I have also found it helpful to be willing to allow those beliefs to evolve as I grow in wisdom. Having said this, some beliefs are long standing, life sustaining, and act as pillars for me. One of those beliefs is this: everyday is sacred. Knowing everyday is sacred, my intention is to focus energy on daily rituals and practices that celebrate the sacred. Doing so helps me remember it throughout my day. It’s so easy to forget with all the noisy distractions of the world!! My belief energizes my commitment to having daily rituals and practices. While daily meditation and energy clearing practices are my anchors, many days I also find myself writing, dancing, and engaging in various other uplifting practices that nourish my spirit (i.e.: yoga, cooking, and playing with with my cats and dog ). As I evolve, my daily rituals do too. When I start my day with nourishing practices, it reconnects me to my essential nature which is unconditional love. Feeling pure love reminds me of my divine nature. This love washes away any doubt that there is anything more important than bringing love into the world. My spirit is nourished. Ahhh, yes! I am spirit. We are all spirit. And I am human too. As the day rolls on, perhaps I encounter someone being unkind or hateful. These are the moments my daily rituals bolster me. They remind me that everything is sacred. Yes, everything, even the less desirable attributes of humanity. In fact, perhaps we learn the most from these challenging moments? My studies of the Bhagavad Gita have taught me that nothing is wasted. I mentioned last week it took a tragedy for me to awaken in death awakens us. The pain and suffering we experience is useful, if we choose to see it that way. How so? These experiences can help us awaken. The harder moments of life teach us where our limits to love and forgiveness reside. They teach us where we are still growing. Exhale. They teach us to have compassion. They teach us that all of life is sacred. My daily rituals help me stay on the path of awakening to life. Why is awakening important? Well, another one of my beliefs is that in order to fulfill my purpose on Earth (to joyfully serve), I must be awake. Meaning, I must be aware, alert, and of the mind set that everything that happens is for me to learn and grow. I often say, “let’s burn our pain and use it as fuel for the journey”. Coming back to my belief that everything is sacred translates to everyday, every moment, every breath... is sacred. My daily rituals help me remember this sacredness so I may live into it. Living as such is a powerful and humbling practice. It’s an endless practice really. A practice, not a perfect. At this stage of my sacred Earth journey, I don’t know any other way I would want to live. >>>What daily rituals do you have or will you commit to NOW? Blessings and love to you on your sacred journey. I support you! Stephanie Are you living with purpose, on purpose?
9 out of 10 people engage in energetic & mentorship work with me because they want to know their "purpose". It got me thinking. Why? I can only look to my own life to answer this, and it's deeply personal. Until I became clear on my purpose for being in this body, I was not fully able to live with purpose. Living with no purpose was unfulfilling and depressing at best. What woke me up to my purpose? Tragedy. Not all of us have to awaken through a tragedy, yet many of us do. I shared how my first great awakening came on the heels of a tragedy in October of 2004 here. Since 2004 I have dedicated my life to offering what I have learned both inside and outside the "classroom" to help others awaken to their purpose. As with all my of offerings, I take a God centered spiritual approach to help others awaken to their purpose and create a life they love. When fully embodied in this creative process, we tap into divine energy, wisdom, and the laws of success. Does this interest you? If you are screaming YES, let's connect! With gratitude & love, Stephanie I've been speaking a lot lately about creation.
Why? The times call for it. Many of us give up too soon because we either don't know - or we forget - we have the power to create our reality. The most important question to focus on when creating is this: How am I being in my doing and what am I creating as a result? I dug up my Mind the Gap podcast episode from 2020 where I take you on a journey to help you create generative success in your life. Why generative? Many reasons! It’s efficient, enjoyable, smart, powerful...long lasting and requires much less effort. Most people focus on what they want to create first, then on what to do, and finally how it will make them feel / be. In this episode Stephanie shares why this approach is backwards!!! She shares why the magic happens when we focus on being - which informs doing - which creates massive results. Stephanie also shares her 4 step formula (the 4D’s) to help you put this magic into practice. The 4D’s are: disengage, discern, decide, do. You won’t want to miss this one. Step outside your comfort zone (cause that’s where the magic lives). Grab a pen, paper and let’s go. >>>Listen Here. >>>Looking for more support? |
