Did you know sweet potatoes are effective at controlling blood sugar and their potassium helps lower blood pressure? And they are tasty too :) Enjoy this recipe.
Curried Sweet Potato Casserole
Prep Time: 10 mins / Cook Time: One Hour
3 medium sweet potatoes cut in 1/4 inch slices
1 small green bell pepper, sliced
1, 14 oz can coconut milk
6 drops lemon or lime juice
1/2 tsp salt
1 pinch ground pepper
2-4 tbsp curry spice blend*
*buy it or make it with: 3 tsp turmeric and 1 tsp each of: cumin, paprika, ground ginger
Preheat oven to 350.
Slice sweet potatoes into 1/4 inch rounds and set into 2 layers in a lightly greased 8 inch casserole dish. Place green peppers on top. In a bowl blend coconut milk, with lemon (or lime) juice, salt, pepper, and curry blend. Blend coconut mixture well and place on top of vegetables, coating them evenly. Bake until sweet potatoes are tender, approximately one hour.

As the temperatures cool and we adjust our thermostats our skin is prone to dehydration. Even those with naturally oily skin are prone to dehydration which can cause flakiness, patches of excess oil, and irritation. In addition to coming in for one of our signatures facials, I recommend treating yourself to a simple and effective mini-treatment at home.
1. Start with a gentle cleanser like our Hylunia Hyaluronic Cleansing Cream to clean skin without stripping it of moisture.
2. Mist your face with a hydrating mist like the Neroli Mist to replenish your skin. This non-astringent toner has antimicrobial and anti inflammatory benefits to soothe skin and prep it for maximum absorption.
3. Apply a pea-sized amount of Beyond Complex C. This powerhouse serum has hydrating Hyaluronic acid, brightening Vitamin C, and firming Peptides.
4 . As the serum absorbs into your skin , apply a quarter sized dollop of the Hyaluronic Cream Mask. Light As A Feather by Stephanie
Have you ever noticed some of the greatest wisdom keepers, peace proponents and those who have endured excruciating circumstances often have an amazing sense of humor? They teach us to be light as a feather...so the winds of change carry us forward with ease rather than keep us stuck :)
Last night at our manifestation meditation I was reminded of this concept---that while we may have lots going on in our life, and in the global community at large, it's vital to find ways to let go, laugh, and lighten up.
More than ever the world needs us to be light... To help with this, I want to share a book I recently finished, Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu. It was inspiring, enlightening, and a big time reminder to be light as a feather! I went from tears to laughter and everything in between. In truth, the words in this gift of a book brought me back to one of the teachings from Patanjali's 8 limbs of yoga that I aspire to experience, "a peace that passeth all understanding...bliss". I highly suggest reading this book. It now has a permanent place on my night table.

Lately during my (Stephanie's) personal meditation practice I've been receiving wisdom that current times call for a strengthening of community in to keep our energy positive & clear to continue bringing more beauty and light into the world.
On a personal level, positive & clear energy helps us birth our dreams into the world.
Whether we are looking to manifest a divine love partnership, fulfilling career, more money, vibrant health, a home, or perhaps a sense of peace and purpose, we need support. We are always co-creating-- both with each other and with the divine.
In this gathering Stephanie will lead you through a guided meditation & shamanic journey to help you manifest/bring forth that which you desire. You will receive an energetic boost so you continue to live from a place of high vibration energy.
We will start promptly at 6:30PM with a reading to connect into the group energy and release any obstacles on our path. Following will be the meditation and journey.
